I was very hesitant to choose a size for these Santini winter pants, mainly because of the store's advice to order a size up and the lack of personal experience with the Santini brand. I took into account recent experience with Alé summer pants, size XS, which were looser in the buttocks area (according to the manufacturer's chart, hip circumference 89-92 cm, I 84 cm). In the end, I ordered a smaller size according to the Santini size chart (XS - hip measurements 84-89 cm) and the pants fit beautifully, they are very tight and compressive, nothing constricts me anywhere, the fabric does not wrinkle anywhere, they are elastic enough. I am 158 cm tall and the pants still have a few cm to spare in terms of length. If someone has a hip circumference in the upper part of the size range, I would rather order a size up, or put up with more significant compression and more difficult to roll into the pants. Even my 11-year-old daughter with a height of 150 cm (37 kg) wears the pants, but they are already compression for her, but still long. Not tested in the field, but maybe just a comparison of Alé vs. Santini will help someone.
U těchto zimních kalhot Santini jsem hodně váhala s výběrem velikosti, zejména kvůli radě obchodu objednat větší velikost a kvůli chybějící osobní zkušenosti se značkou Santini. Přihlédla jsem k čerstvé zkušenosti s letními kalhotami zn. Alé vel. XS, které mi v oblasti hýždí byly volnější (dle tabulky výrobce obvod boků 89-92 cm, já 84 cm). Nakonec jsem objednala dle velikostní tabulky Santini menší velikost (XS - rozměry boků 84-89 cm) a kalhoty krásně sedí, jsou hodně přiléhavé až kompresní, nikde mě nic neškrtí, látka se nikde nekrabatí, jsou dostatečně elastické. Měřím 158 cm a nohavice mají ještě několik cm rezervu co se týká délky. Pokud má někdo obvod boků v horní části velikostního rozmezí, objednávala bych spíše už větší velikost, nebo se smířila s výraznější kompresí a obtížnějším soukáním se do kalhot. Kalhoty obleče i 11letá dcera s výškou 150 cm (37 kg), i pro ni už jsou ale kompresní, jen zatím dlouhé. V terénu nevyzkoušeno, ale třeba už jen porovnání Alé vs. Santini někomu pomůže.
