The SKELETON system is the result of years of advanced research in the DMT laboratory. GENUINE SKELETON is integrated into the upper, made of fine nylon tubes (4 on the outside and 2 on the inside), the wire runs through the upper and also through the inner part of the sole, allowing the shoe to hug the foot in 360°. 
Created as a solid shell that eliminates the need for external reinforcement of the heel, with the only goal, to hug the foot perfectly. 3 nylon tubes ensure a smooth rope passage. The SKELETON CARBON outsole is made exclusively from UD FAW 150 carbon fibre, an innovative material that is extremely stiff and impact resistant, much stronger than steel and with very high thermal stability. The sole thus becomes a virtual part of the foot that can breathe thanks to the forefoot opening and the innovative midsole with 5 mm diameter micro holes. 
The RS1's innovative concept allows two traditionally separate parts, the tongue and the upper, to be integrated into a single element. By creating the shoe in this way, the upper goes over the top of the foot and replaces the tongue. 
The Boa® comfort system provides comfort with a smooth, even closure and no pressure points. The optimized - 1 CLICK = 1 mm Boa® closure system can be adjusted quickly and accurately with just one hand. With the Boa® system, clamping is fast and also donning and doffing is easier. Once the Boa® system is set, the setting remains the same and unchanged. The Boa® system's lanyard can handle both high loads and the highest tension.
Boa system: BOA provides a lifetime warranty on its products, so in case of failure, you can get a new BOA system directly. More info in the "specification"
