CASTELLI jacket ideal if you commute to work by bike, made to provide maximum functionality on the bike but also look great when you arrive at work.
We wanted a jacket that provides maximum visibility during night rides, but doesn't look ridiculous with all sorts of reflective strips or detailing when you arrive at the office. We applied an almost unnoticeable reflective print to the entire surface of the jacket. It's almost imperceptible during the day, but at night it reflects a distinctive pattern that's sure to get you noticed.
This was just the first step, a fabric with a water column of 20,000 mm means that water will never get in. And the breathability of 20,000 MVTR means that large amounts of moisture can easily escape out.
But other details make this jacket stand out: an interior waistband that you can cinch to keep the cold and wind out, or leave it open to allow air to flow in from underneath to make you feel cooler. In doing so, this inner belt allowed us to make a jacket that flows beautifully over the hips and has a much cleaner and more refined look than a jacket finished with an elastic or drawstring.
