We have been using Nano Flex Light stretch fabric on the back of Perfetto vests and Beta jackets for several years.
The tightly woven fabric keeps a lot of wind out while being relatively thin and compact. The absence of a membrane means that much more moisture can escape to the outside. We've now used this fabric on a jersey that is lightweight but surprisingly warm due to the way it prevents wind transfer compared to traditional jerseys.
We line the front of the jersey with fabric that comes directly from our technical base layers to keep you a little warmer and help wick moisture away from the body.This jersey actually covers a wider range of temperatures than our traditional knit jerseys.
Use it with a lightweight sleeveless baselayer for moderately cool days, a lightweight long-sleeved baselayer for mild winters, and with a Flanders Warm or Miracolo baselayer and vest to keep you comfortable even in surprisingly cold temperatures.
The stretch woven fabric is aerodynamic and gives the jersey a snug fit. Think of it as your Aero Race jersey for spring and fall days.
