The graphics of the Gavia-Mortirolo jersey celebrate the 226-kilometer-long Alpine stage with 5,700 meters of elevation gain, perhaps the most challenging stage of the Giro 102. The riders climb the Passo della Presolana, the Croce di Salven, the famous Passo Gavia (Cima Coppi) and the Passo del Mortirolo from the “epic” side of Mazzo di Valtellina, considered one of the most difficult climbs in Europe and honored, among the others, by a young Marco Pantani on a legendary ascent during the Giro d’Italia in 1994. An extremely difficult stage, represented on the Gavia-Mortirolo jersey with a geometric motif that recalls the countless switchbacks the riders will face. In terms of technical characteristics, the Gavia-Mortirolo jersey is based on the Giro 102 Squadra jersey and uses a combination of fabrics that provide an optimal fit, quick drying and exceptional comfort. The main fabric, Velo Light by Sitip, ensures lightness and quick drying; the perforated side panels enhance breathability; and the construction of the sleeves, with no seams at the ends, provides unrivaled comfort.
