Every year, the Giro d'Italia passes some of the most iconic cities throughout cycling history. The 1949 Grande Toro jersey pays tribute to those who lost their lives in the 1949 air disaster in the city of this year's Grand Depart, Turin. The Competizione jersey is the basis for the model, with its amazing elasticity and moisture-wicking management. It has a cut that fits great even if you don't have the physique of a Grand Tour rider. We used a YKK® Vislon® zipper, silicone waistband and 3 back pockets to finish the jersey. Now all that's left to do is cheer on the riders of this year's Giro d'Italia!
