The Nano Flex 3G fabric is water repellent, stretchy and warm thanks to the luxuriously soft fleece inside.

Could be called a product of "convergence". A few years ago we were pioneers and brought out the first Omloop thermal shorts. We were inspired by racers who were cutting the leg warmers down to the bend of their knees. This happened at the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad race on a cold sunny morning. We decided to make pants like this. During the production we realized that we could do it without using an elastic hem and that an extra 10 centimeters of fabric can add a lot of warmth. The first Omloop shorts were made from Thermoflex, designed for cold and dry conditions, similar to those usually experienced at the races that inspired us.The change came in 2020 with the introduction of our third generation Nano Flex fabric, which is just as soft, stretchy, breathable and warming as our Thermoflex fabric. However, we can now make these shorts for cold and dry conditions, but they will also perform excellently on wet days. They are still a professional tool: they are identical to the model supplied for Team Quick Step-Alpha Vinyl.
