The Premio Bibshort was designed to provide maximum comfort for the long haul and be your favorite pant ever. It's a big claim, but we've put a lot of research and development into these pants to back up that claim. The cycling liner is central to the Premio's exceptional comfort. Our top-of-the-line Progetto X² Air Seamless consists of two separate components: the soft, stretchy top layer takes care of skin contact, and its sole purpose is to prevent any abrasion to your skin. Underneath is the Cushioning Layer, which consists of dual-density foam with breathable perforated gel pads under the sit bones and prostate.
Comfort continues thanks to the pants' three-panel construction with reduced seams. We have designed a new fabric that changes its structure depending on the needs of different parts of the body. The lower part of the trousers has a flat seamless finish with integrated rubberised yarns that guarantee a comfortable fit. The fabric on the thighs is lighter, while the four-way stretch provides just the right amount of support for the muscles. In the pelvic area, compression and support increases to keep the liner and everything else in place. On the back, the fabric is thicker to avoid see-through issues.
Premium fabric can also be found on the braces. The perforated back keeps you cool and this piece is glued so you don't feel the thickness of the stitched edge. The braces have precisely modulated elasticity to hold the pants securely in place without digging into your shoulders. We've also carried the idea of "less is more" into the design with minimalist laser-baked logos with a subtle finish. They look as premium as they feel. You can tell that we created every component, every stitch and every detail with the utmost dedication. You won't find better shorts.
