The top aero model in the FFWD range uses a rim with LAW TECH technology, where LAW is short for "Laminar Airflow Wing". This proprietary FFWD design optimizes aerodynamics and stiffness - the 26mm width makes them suitable for most galus widths in use today. The wheels are designed for use on the track in high speeds, sprints and any discipline requiring acceleration. The wheels are optimized for perfect power transfer and air bypass using extremely hard SAPIM CX-Sprint wires and brass nipples. The custom optimized FFWD TRACK hubs utilize a raised flange and high precision bearings that have minimal rolling resistance. The external brass nipples used make the wheels easier to service and increase durability.
