Tubeless-ready construction specifically designed for gravel with a 60tpi textile braid that has a greater overlap of overlapping layers to the sidewalls and an additional protective layer around the entire circumference from bead to bead to prevent punctures.
SpeedGRIP Pirelli has created a proprietary rubber compound that allows for better performance and energy transfer with less effort when riding on asphalt, gravel or more aggressive terrain. The SpeedGRIP compound achieves the same durability as its MTB sibling (SmartGRIP), as well as the same high level of wet grip and allows for more efficient energy transfer to reduce rolling resistance to a level similar to pure road racing tyres. This high-tech rubber compound is the product of experience gained from the world of off-road racing circuits around the world, where Pirelli has a firm place on both 2- and 4-wheel vehicles.
The result is a compound with two diametrically opposed characteristics:
