How do you upgrade the world's best-selling helmet? You give it a more modern shape, the latest technology, fine-tune the details and most importantly - breathe biker soul into it! The Fixture II is especially at home off-road - the shape is tuned down from our much more expensive trail helmets. Dirt roads, forest trails or narrow trails in the pine forest - if you're most comfortable when dirt crunches, pine needles rustle and pine cones fly under your wheels, the Fixture II helmet is the one for you. With its extended profile at the back, it provides increased protection for the back of your neck. It's well ventilated with 16 vents and fits perfectly on your head thanks to the Roc Loc Sport fitting system, which you can easily tighten with one hand using the tightening wheel. The helmet is also available in XL size. MIPS technology available in selected colours. MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) provides increased protection against rotational forces on the head. For more information visit www.MIPSprilby.cz. The new MIPS technology aims to eliminate the rotational forces that act on the head in the event of a crash. When hit at any angle, the MIPS system allows the EPS shell of the helmet to rotate independently around the rider's head. Although this movement is only on the order of a few millimeters, we believe that MIPS technology significantly reduces the amount of rotational force that could otherwise be transmitted to the brain. WHAT IS MIPS (Multidirectional Impact Protection System) and how does it work? MIPS is a slippery liner between the EPS shell (helmet body) and the inner liners. In the event of an angled impact (for example, if you catch your head on a branch), the EPS shell of the helmet will roll a few millimeters over the MIPS layer, protecting your head and brain from a violent rotational jerk.
