The XR Spherical kind of shatters the conventional ideas of what a road racing helmet looks like. The extended back protector suggests something about the terrain... Sure, the XR Spherical has a crossover from road to gravel and XC MTB. If you want to disappear from the road to the trail around the next bend, you can - the XR is a true all-rounder! The Spherical Powered by MIPS technology is based on the principle of articulation. The shell consists of two parts (hemispheres) inserted into each other and connected by yellow elastomers. The whole system creates a kind of cushioning that absorbs forces in the event of an impact - the hemispheres can move relative to each other and the elastomers absorb the energy. In addition, the outer shell is made of harder material, the inner shell is made of softer material (Progressive Layering technology). Although the XR Spherical provides maximum protection, it is lightweight and superbly ventilated.
