Wear too little and you'll never get fully warm enough to enjoy the ride.The concept is fairly simple: wind protection on the front, highly breathable fabrics on the back, and water repellency all around in case it showers a bit. But what makes this jacket unique is the way we've brought these simple elements together. Wind protection comes from our lightweight, two-way stretch GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabric that moves with you and is so light you hardly notice it. This lightweight windproof layer is backed by a separate ProSecco Strada inner layer with a separate zipper that can be independently unzipped for ultimate ventilation control. The back is made from our Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric, which provides a good level of insulation but has no membrane, allowing plenty of sweat to escape. The cut fits close to the body so nothing blows in the wind, and it's the little details that make the difference: easy-to-use YKK® zippers, reflective drain holes on the pockets, and a snug silicone hem around the waist.All of these features are why this jacket is consistently described as a favorite among CASTELLI employees.
