Because it really is perfect for a wide range of conditions. The Perfetto RoS 2 excels in dry conditions thanks to its great breathability, but also in wet conditions thanks to CASTELLI's exclusive GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabrics. Featuring a soft fleece fabric at the front and a lighter, stretchier fabric at the back to maximize breathability while offering excellent water repellency, the Perfetto RoS 2 jacket keeps all the cold wind out while being far more breathable than the typical polyurethane membranes used on most jackets that try to compete with it. When you're staying dry during performance, you don't need as many layers. The beauty of this jacket is that it has no insulation as such, so the thin base layer is perfectly suited to mild conditions, while the addition of an insulating layer (a warm jersey or CASTELLI Alpha 2nd Layer shell) will allow you to wear this jacket in the cold. The"2" part of the name refers to updates from the latest version, including a YKK® Vislon® zipper with top and bottom vents for better adjustable ventilation. Reflective elements on the back are more visible, the upper shoulder seam has been moved to the back, and three pockets allow for more storage. While the Perfetto remains performance-oriented, the new model offers more space in the chest, shoulders and biceps.
