We made them for serious winter riding. That means they protect and keep you comfortable in the widest possible range of conditions. Easy to say, but harder to do.
The main part of them is our third generation Nano Flex 3G fabric, our patented fabric with Nano surface technology that gives it a high level of water repellency without affecting breathability, elasticity or warmth. You get a highly stretchy, compression fit from the pant that moves with you, and is very warm and comfortable. We've added a few more panels of Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric to provide a little more wind protection and more warmth in the front and thighs, and also in the back to increase protection from water running off the bike.
Well it's not just about the materials used, it's also the anatomical fit at the bend of the knees and hips, while the seamless flat braces don't press and keep everything securely in place. Our generously padded Progetto X² Air seamless liner makes long rides easier. And reflective panels keep you visible in all conditions. We've designed these as pants for riding all winter long.
